Harry watched, as Severus' teacup was placed right of the plate, the newspaper to the left.
He knew, without counting, Severus would stir his tea twenty-two revolutions clockwise, then twenty-two anti-clockwise; knew that the paper had been folded so it could be read from back to front; knew that the plate would be rotated so that the eggs were furthest away.
The ritual was comforting, Harry thought happily, as he very carefully spread marmalade on every inch of his toast, then made sure his eggs weren't touching his bacon, but he was glad he didn't have any quirks like that.
