When they entered, Rosmerta smiled serenely, wiping her hands in her apron. She’d known they would come tonight.
“Over here,” she said, leading them to a secluded table.
Once they sat, Rosmerta locked up. She wouldn’t allow any intrusions.
Keeping the lighting low, and strengthened her Silencing Charms, she turned away all who knocked.
She smiled as they held hands and kissed over dinner.
Before they left, Severus tried to press some galleons into her palm.
She refused. Harry and Severus would never pay for meal here while she was alive.
“Rest in peace, Albus,” she whispered as they left.
