Anyway here's my response to this weeks challenge.

Summary: Severus' heart breaks as his lover confronts some long held demons...
Severus Snape watched his young Gryffindor lover from a few paces back. His heart shattered as he watched Harry drop to his knees as his body was engulfed by his long held despair.
Severus closed the gap between them, dropping to his knees too. He turned to his lover and grabbed his hand. If he'd realised this visit to his parents grave would affect his lover so much he wouldn't have agreed to Harry's request.
With Harry's hand in his Severus tried to communicate his love, his regrets and his comfort. He also hoped Harry would gain strength from their love.

Eventually Harry turned to face the man beside him, his eyes were blood-shot red. Severus took his lovers face in his hands and lent in to place a chaste kiss on Harry's lips.
Of course, the tears weren't only for his fallen parents, but he was allowing his body to release the relief he felt after surviving Naginin's attack during the build up to the final battle.
Raising himself and his lover from the ground, Severus apparated them back to Spinners End. That night he made slow passionate love to the young man as the slow road to healing had begun.
