Character Info
Character Name: Atsuya Fubuki
Series: Inazuma Eleven
Character Age and Gender: 14, male
Character Personality: The first thing that could come to mind about Atsuya is that he’s a watered down version of Burn. They’re both often antagonistic, brash, and sometimes even a little arrogant. However, Atsuya is much more disciplined, and often more mature than the ex-Prominence captain, likely from being in the Order for the past four years. He’s still fairly competitive, however, and while he’s not easily bored, he’s also not easily amused. It usually takes something big to truly capture his interest, but when it does, he puts 100% into whatever it is. He has a mile-wide sarcastic streak, but he knows to keep his mouth shut around superiors.
Atsuya’s not that great at getting along with his peers. He doesn’t really feel like he can connect to them a lot of the time, and, if he feels they’ve warranted it somehow, he can be a bit condescending to people around him. That is, unless, they can earn his respect, but even then, they’re not immune to the occasional sarcastic jab or snarky comment. Atsuya appreciates it when people get his sense of humor and respond appropriately-that is to say, a returned comment that can lead to a battle of wits, rather than some show of a lack of amusement.
When Atsuya truly cares about someone, they are his top priority, no matter what. When it comes to the people he loves, their needs automatically take priority over his own. A notable trait of Atsuya’s is his complete willingness to sacrifice anything to help those he cares for, even his own life. Needless to say, this can be a problem, especially when Atsuya puts the happiness of his loved ones before his own. This sometimes leads to what most generally refer to as “a lack of common sense”.
Atsuya is not necessarily a loner by any means, however, this does not mean he’s a social butterfly. One’s most likely to find him doing things on his own, but that doesn’t mean he’ll refuse to do things with a group. Atsuya doesn’t like relying on others for help, but he’ll tolerate it if necessary. It takes a while to build a friendship with Atsuya, but it’s worth the effort. He’s another one of those characters where getting past a rather prickly exterior will reveal a true, life-long friend underneath.
Brief History:
inazuma-eleven.wikia.com/wiki/Fubuki_Atsuya Normally, I’d link to the wiki page and leave it at that, however, at some point, Atsuya’s background diverged from the canon one. It started during that avalanche that the Fubuki family was caught in. Atsuya did indeed push his twin brother out of the car, and Atsuya and the parents were buried in the avalanche, however, that day, luck was on Atsuya’s side. King Mickey had been patrolling that world on that particular day, and saw the avalanche. He managed to rescue Atsuya, but not either of the parents. The other child was nowhere in sight, and so the king figured that the boy he rescued had no place to go. Because of this, Mickey took the boy with him back to Disney Town, where he became part of the Keyblade Order.
Within the first two months of being there, Atsuya adjusted to life there and had the Inheritance Ceremony performed on him by King Mickey. After that, for four years, Mickey trained Atsuya personally in using the Keyblade, Atsuya using one that had been lying around in the Order-Eternal Blizzard. In between training with the Keyblade, Atsuya also kept up with playing soccer; it was his favorite sport and it reminded him of back home. He became rather good at both things and eventually, after four years, Atsuya attained the rank of Keyblade Wielder. One of the first things he did on his own was go back to his home world, to check on everyone. He thought about attempting to contact his brother but changed his mind, figuring the shock would be too much for his twin. Ever since he returned from his home world, he continued training diligently with the Keyblade, striving to become a Keyblade Master.
Affiliation/: Keyblade Order
Initial World area: Keyblade Order
Usefulness: N/A
Rank: Keyblade Wielder
Special Powers: Atsuya is a normal human and therefore does not have any powers outside of the ones granted to him as a keyblade wielder (magic and whatnot).
Other Skills: Atsuya is fairly decent at soccer and can cook. Partially thanks to his training, he's very perceptive and easily notices details about the environment around him.
Keyblade: Eternal Blizzard. They keychain is a soccer ball with ice crystal-like projections from it, attached by a dark blue chain to the keyblade. The shaft of the keyblade is white, with light blue, translucent ice crystals making up the teeth of the key and the handguards, and a dark blue ribbon wrapped around the length, decorated with a snowflake at the crossguard. It boosts Atsuya's attack power and his ice magic.
Reason for having a keyblade: Atsuya has a strong heart, strong bonds with others, determination in spades, and he's willing to put everything on the line to help those he cares about (as seen when he pushes his twin out of the car during the avalanche).
Setting Information: N/A
RP Sample: This was Hakuren Junior High.
Atsuya stared up at the school in front of him. It was the school that he would have been attending alongside his twin had the avalanche not occurred. Yes, the avalanche… the accident that had happened four years ago and changed Atsuya’s life forever felt like it was an eternity away. But, Atsuya couldn’t help but think that maybe it was for the better. This way, Atsuya knew he was capable of protecting his world if a massive Heartless-or-Nobody threat popped up. He could protect people, and Atsuya had to admit, that felt kinda good, even if nobody would know it was him, Atsuya Fubuki, the boy who had apparently died four years ago in an avalanche with his parents.
Atsuya took a step towards the door, reaching out for the doorknob, but drew his hand back. No. That was a bad idea. As much as he’d wanted to see his twin, Atsuya was positive that it wouldn’t have a good effect on the boy. It would be too much of a shock. Atsuya shook his head to himself and turned on his heel to leave. His boots made a soft crunching noise as he walked away from the school, Eternal Blizzard at his side. However, something caught his attention from the corner of his eye, a student of Hakuren. Atsuya froze in his tracks. He made a motion for the student to run along.
“Don’t mind me. I’m just passing through.”
