Wow. It's been over a month since I've posted here. How time flies.

Dearest Snark,
I have been wondering where you are and whether you are well.
The day after tomorrow my old-enough-to-be-my-father partner is going to Australia on vacation. There is still time to find some present for you to be mailed from Perth, so, if any ideas come, please write. Over here the boring snowy Russian winter already arrived, and I miss Australia.:)

Hi Daria!
Good to hear from you. Hope your partner has a safe trip to Australia. I've never been to Perth, but I've heard it's a great city. How long is he there for? Believe me, a snowy winter is anything but boring!! I'd ask you to send me some snow, but I don't think it would survive the journey! lol.

Well, when snow is lying 7 months, gets dirty, and it is cold outside, no colors save dirty grey, dirty brown, black and white, and year after year is all the same... Although, +40C and water-saving can get boring too :) although I think I'd swap any day :)
Tony will be in Perth for about a month. I don't know whether he plans to visit Adelaide or not, - he might, he grew up in Waterfall Gully. I think I'll try to send you some snow, don't ask how, let it be a surprise. :)
have you had time to read the fic snippets I sent you, by the way?

lol. Okay, I'll look out for a little bottle of snow-turned-to-water in the mail. lol. I've been so ridiculously busy with work and RL I've hardly had time to write fic myself (only my exchange fic that I just got in before the deadline!) let alone read anyone else's. I promise I'll get to it when life gives me five minutes to myself!!

Nice to know your doing well:) Sorry about the job. You'll find one even better! I also have to pat you on the back for joining a gym..I'm still too afriad.
Also I have to know who James Hird is. What's his book about? Come on and tell us poor folk who don't get to live over there!

James Hird, imho, is the greatest AFL (Australian Football League) player ever to walk to hallowed turf of the country's football fields. Of course, I'm biased, because he's the captain of my team - Essendon - but he's a superb player, a brilliant leader and a great person. What more could you want??

And that probably made no sense. lol. What can I say. I'm a football-mad Aussie.

You're back! Welcome back!

A job missed only means a better one will come down the road. Saving money is brilliant...

Sounds like things are going well for you!
