Rant, rant, rantity, rant!
Heath Ledger died today of an apparent overdose. He had so much promise and was one of the few young actors that got my seal of approval. There are too many "hot throbs" out there who make it big because they have so many groupies who gobble up movie tickets because "oh-my-god he's so hot, I want to have his babies". They phone in their performances on a good day and just make me yak! That being said I had high praise for Heath but I can't seem to mourn him. I'm furious! I would give my right eye-ball to be in his shoes - getting paid good money to basically play, choose roles based on their merit, being recognized by my peers and the public as an actor. But no, he selfishly throws his life away. Yeah, he may have been heart broken, hit a rough patch, felt like he was at the bottom of a hole with no way out but jesus SUCK IT UP! Everyone has been then a time or two or three or fifty and lived through it. Gah!! I'm so pissed right now!
