Someone appears happy. Really, really happy if that twinkle in his eyes along with the smile is anything to go by.
Or maybe that's just how extremely pissed off he is, because Snape does not do cheerful, friendly or polite. He does snarky, unpleasant and down right mean. But every time he tries to speak, a compliment comes out instead of a sarcastic comment, hence the opening and closing of his mouth at this moment as he tries to force out even one work that can summarize his complete and utter disgust with this event.
It doesn't work. Instead, all that anger and unpleasantness inside seems to have built up enough to have the event make him grab a large mixing bowl and start adding sugar, flour and butter into it. Oh damn it.]
