I usually like more experienced (or clued-in?) characters, but Hikaru's sort of irresistible, isn't he? And it's not like instructing him would be much of a hardship for Akira. :)

In all seriousness, this fic just...made sense. Usually slash fanfiction involves a whole lotta feelings, but so few boys really take time to sit down and analyze what they are feeling and what it means. Most males like sex because it's fun and enjoyable, and that seemed to be how you wrote this. I don't know if it was conscious on your part, but it definitely worked. xD Good job.

It wasn't a conscious decision on my part, but it was probably quite influenced by two ex-boyfriends both of whom said (I think even before I was really dating them) that they had "poor impulse control." I always thought 'what in the world is that supposed to mean?' but I suspect now that it is a guy thing or at least an young men thing.
