Smarts and sex appeal have absolutely nothing to do with one another. Some of the smartest people out there are also the most awkward and all-around not cool people you'll ever meet. But that doesn't mean that you'll never know where you stand with the fairer sex, just that you're thinking about it all wrong. For starters, no one likes you here you brag about how smart you are.

Not about that. You go around talking about how smart you are and you sound like you think you're better than them. You really don't want to talk about yourself at all. Stick to neutral topics to avoid coming off too strong. Current events, things you have in common, that sort of thing. You want to be funny and you want her to think you're a good listener. Reading her body language is very important. When its time to come on strong, you want to talk about her. The things she likes, how pretty she is, and so on. If you're still getting the all clear signal, then its time to talk about you. And you want to talk about you in terms of how you benefit her, not about how great you think you are.
