Yuletide! So far:
I have been slowly skimming my way through the Yuletide collection, pausing at any story that catches my eye -- I don't usually write up recs, but there are many new bookmarks on my delicious page (which I will soon backup to my diigo account, just in case . . .). I'm on about page 70 of the 132 pages in the collection (though I have to keep going back to page one to see incoming stories, too!)
My stories (I got two! I was surprised this afternoon by a little Yuletide Madness gift. :D) are both for ReBoot, both from AndrAIa's point of view. They are both lovely -- the first, Beyond the Parameters, is a look at AndrAIa just before she met the Mainframe crew. What makes her special -- her instincts, her adaptability, her curiosity, her courage -- I love it. ♥
The second story, Instinct, packs a lot into 356 words. I got to see, again, how AndrAIa's instincts as a Game Sprite hold her (and Matrix) in good stead. &thisonetoo;
I'll try not to let the collection take up too much time -- I've got to wrap up my Sheppard h/c exchange story pretty soon!
