Yuletide stories
I got a chance to stretch a bit, this Yuletide! Both of the stories that I wrote were for Teeny Tiny fandoms, BOOK fandoms -- which I've never tried to do before -- writing something for characters that are already written, and with such distinct style!, was quite difficult, but really really fun, too!
I do wish I'd been able to write LONGER stories -- they ended up with under 2k, each -- but both recipients seemed to enjoy them, and I'm so glad.
To Brave the Dark (CJ Cherryh's Fortress Series) for corbeaun ; and Fire Dance (Martha Well's Element of Fire) for marinarusalka
My own gift , from telophase , was fantastic! Such a sweet, melancholy story, just perfectly in tune with the show. So all in all, I'm going to consider this Yuletide a success, and look forward to the next one!
