Pineapple under attack!
So I brought back a fresh pineapple from the store today -- I LOVE pineapple, but I usually buy it already cut into chunks or canned. But it looked so pretty!
Anyway. Apparently, Sanji-cat is sort of obsessed with the spiky leaves/stem whatever it's called part of the pineapple -- everytime I knocked him off the counter he'd jump right back up to chew on it. Which, hey. Not cool.
So I took a shelf out of the refrigerator so the pineapple would fit in there until I got around to cutting it up. And maybe grilling it . . . grilled pineapple is DELICIOUS.
Question though -- I know the pineapple doesn't NEED to be refrigerated until I cut it up, but . . . it won't actually hurt it, would it? Cause if I leave it out on the counter Sanji will probably end up pruning it bald. Or knocking it to the floor.
