Yuletide reveals
Good morning 2012! Yes, I know, it's after noon. I slept late. Because I could. :D
But I thought I'd put this up, seeing as how the Yuletide Reveal has gone through. I wrote two fics this year. I love the adrenaline rush of picking up a pinch hit and then realizing that you HAVE NO TIME OMG. But it worked out well, I think.
To Fall in Snow, Still Burning (Yoroiden Samurai Troopers/Ronin Warriors) for pentapus
It's possible the first anime story I've written? I think so. The source is an old favorite, and I got to indulge myself a bit, so I loved getting this prompt.
Ryou has a fever. But the Samurai Troopers don't get sick.
Beware the Bandersnatch (Syfy's Alice) for kijikun
I love this adaptation of Carrol's story, it's just so much fun to play with. I might have to come back to this fandom some time.
Hatter is abducted by the flotsam left behind the Revolution, and Alice finds her way to him.
They are both pretty much gen, although in my head at least Touma is massively in love with Ryou, and there is an established relationship between Alice and Hatter.
My own gift, Ad Astra Per Aspera, was from novembersmith, who is AMAZING. I'd say I would now stalk her for all the stories -- but I already do that. ♥ I should have suspected it was from her though -- the character building is impeccable, and the imagery is pretty sweet too.
All in all, a great way to end the year and ring in the new!
