Haircut!
Despite the horror that was the sudden demise of my iPod, today has been a pretty good day.
For one, the Apple Genius people, though unable to save WEBS, were able to order me a replacement. And, since WEBS was an older iPod, the replacement will only cost me 60 dollars -- much less than the 250 it would cost to get a new model, even with the ten percent off I could get by trading in WEBS.
So that's good.
Also -- Haircut! I LOVE getting my hair cut. I only do it once or twice a year (more like once, really), so it's always a treat. I don't use a regular stylist, just whoever is available at my favorite place (named, imaginatively, The Salon).
Today's stylist happily nerded out about hair product information and what she was doing with my hair -- I don't like trying to keep up a conversation while someone cuts my hair, so this was MUCH better. And informative! She gave me several tips I plan to try out. And my hair is cut, and healthy looking and SOFT and smells SOOOO good now, and I felt like purring all through the process, so, I name it a success! Also, I will probably ask for this stylist again -- I liked her a lot.
I did not color it today -- though after talking to my stylist, I have a better idea of what I want to do with it at a later date. Maybe in a month or two. hmmmmm.
Anyway, pictures! It is surprisingly difficult to take pictures of your own hair -- I couldn't keep a straight face, for one thing. And the lighting is sort of weird in my apartment.

The layers are quite a bit more drastic than they look -- there are pieces underneath that are QUITE short. It swings! I like it a lot, and it should be fairly simple to deal with, which is good, if only because I'm lazy with things like this.
Now, tomorrow is my highschool reunion -- I will try to get pictures of myself all dressed up and girly, because it really is very rare. :D
