Subject: Abnormally non-hibernating bats
To whom it may concern --
In January, my mother, who lives in Pennsylvania near the Monroe-Pike
border in Monroe county, found a bat on the side of her house in, I
believe, February. There was still significant snow in NE PA. Later
I read articles on the die-off, and made the connection. My mother
has pictures of the bat somewhere because she thought he was cute and
she's had a bat box set up for a few years and likes the little guys.
I would be happy to get and email the pictures if they would be of
any help to you.
Sincerely,
Joelle Caporaso
I left a message for my mom to email me the pictures. I only emailed because I thought they'd tell me not to worry. I'm glad to be of help, but still . . . :(
