Waking up is easier with the help of a full spectrum happy lamp

So I'm actually going to update instead of just reading and writing! Of course, I'm not in the mood to do an introductory post right now -- I'm in between classes and looking for something to do. I think it's pathetic that Lifetime, USA, and A&E have the best programming in the morning -- do I want to watch Monk, Golden Girls, or Crossing Jordan while I knit? It's a toughie.

I should be asleep now, but nooooo, I had to take 8 AM German so I can go to Germany next year. And my next class is at 11. Good news is that the two hour break gives me time, when the semester starts to cram for intro to international politics (round two because I withdrew last spring). But for now, I have free time.

(Actually, German 1 looks to be a really fun class and I'm really excited because I get to bug Andree a(ka the German guy I had a huuuge crush on that turned out to be gay and even more awesome then I thought), Sylvia, and the two cute (hopefully straight!) new guys from a different German uni (I'm not sure if it's Munster or Bocholt))

In any case, I'll be knitting my awesome moose hat, which is going to be a gift. Next I want to order one of the other patterns for myself (suggestions I'm leaning towards flenten, but I'm not sure) but I also have the pattern for the Katie Cap and some Cherry Hill Yarn in Cabin Fever I got on sale!

(Also remind me to write about my new Finnish friend I met on OKCupid, of all places)
