After saying goodbye to Paige, Piper returned home to Matthew and thanked his aunt Veronica for taking such good care of him.

Maybe later, she would start taking pictures of him to send to Paige.

Drake was wandering, as he was wont to do, and decided to pay Piper a visit. He actually knocked on the door instead of just shimmering in.

Piper was appreciative that he didn't just shimmer in.

"Hi Drake," she greeted when she opened the door. She was still holding Matthew. "Here to meet Matthew?"

"I got to play with his cousins yesterday," Drake said. "So I figured I should make the rounds of the wee ones. Children are the future, unless they learn to time travel into the past. Then they run the risk of becoming their own grandfather, and it gets really messy."

"Let's see, that's me, your uncle Cole, and . . . that's it," Drake mused. "But then again, I've heard your uncle Cole has a thing for a vampire from another dimension, but he's a good vampire, so there is that. I know, I know, it's confusing. Just trust your mama."

"So many girls around you," Drake said to the baby after flashing Piper a grin. "You'll have to look to your Uncle Cole and Uncle Sam -- no, not that Uncle Sam -- for manly guidance. But take anything they say with a grain of something. And don't get any relationship advice from Wyatt or Lindsey. They needed lots of help themselves."
