Mm. Tasty.

I've been doing an advent calendar for Mums, though not as in "here's a bunch of things wrapped up in some way and now you must wait patiently for them" but more of me giving her something small in a festive, magically refilling bag. Sunday's wasn't a bag item though. I made dinner since she wanted to watch the first part of Crisis on Infinite Earths and we always manage to eat late on Sundays.

Made skillet lasagna and it turned out decently. Should've added more cheese (always) and something else wasn't quite right. Near as I can tell, Widget didn't even try his, though he did eventually turn up and steal his bread. Rude.

I'm in a funk, though, and I blame the stupid tree. Widget eventually, when his WiFi was yanked, put it up, but a chunk near the top isn't lit (and we've all looked and can't figure out where the missing plug is) and the tippy top needs to be straightened and yet no one seems to realize that when I say I'm allergic to this fucking tree, I mean it. It's not some 'tee hee, I just don't want to deal with it' thing. It's I touch the tree and I start to itch and turn red. I don't care if it's the dust or the plastic or what, touching that thing is miserable for me. But we don't get a real tree because Mom is allergic. Sooooooooo... maybe someone else could fucking work on it so I don't scratch my skin off?

And yes. I am also allergic to my little blue tree. But it is very small and also I've left it up the last two or three years just so I don't have to touch it. :P
