Last night I went out on my regular route. So far I only have one dumpster that seems to be a veritable gold mine of random stuff. It is behind a strip mall with Savers and another small thrift store. Last night I pulled out three volumes of Readers' Digest Condensed Books. W00t! There were also some old-ass encyclopedia volumes and some stuffed animals, which I didn't take. Books FTW!! :D
I can't wait to go back to Casey's and get more donuts and pastries. As it is right now though I have breakfast foods coming out of my ears and not a lot of room in my freezer, so I won't have to go for a long time. :|
The light works fairly well, or well enough at least. Probably I'll just use it on very dark streets.
I think I saw a couple of mental cases out last night. One guy on a bike talking to himself, and a woman walking by the train tracks who stopped to watch me as I rode by. This was after 11pm. o_0 Perhaps a good case for going diving in a car? I do carry a box cutter knife on me, but would I be able to think to pull it out in a worst case scenario?
