Semester 1 assessment was successfully passed this morning, so I spent the rest of the day slacking off by watching too much bad tv and noodling around with digital painting.

Not my usual way of painting (if I have a usual way - I generally just play around with Photoshop and see what works). Her face was stuck in my mind for weeks - I had to paint her in those colours. But now I'm not sure how to finish the composition. Possibly collaging other images from the Congo series. Requires some thinking but it's going to be a little while before I have breathing space again.
It was nice to do art for myself for a change.
