Woo! First art update in a long while.
As part of an assignment I'm making a self promotion card from this piece, which on the reverse will have a short Q&A. This is my question shortlist:
Favourite studio items:
Indian ink, graphics tablet, comic books (noteably Sandman and Sin City), collection of textured paper.
Tools of the trade:
Tools I'm currently most comfortable with: Pencil and sketchbook, Adobe Illustrator.
Describe your studio space:
Too damn crowded! I need to custom build some drawer units to stick old art and research materials in. My huge desk is way underutilised because of all the accumulated resources and works in progress piled upon it. Theres also a computer with loverly wide screen monitor and two overflowing bookshelves. Most of the floor space is taken up by my bed.
What inspires you?
Unconventional people, storytelling, comics, the human form.
What are you listening to right now?
Most commonly found on my playlist at the moment: Pink Floyd, Battles, Karnivool, A Perfect Circle, Godspeed You! Black Emperor.
Favourite place to travel:
Hong Kong. But I'd love to head back to Europe again, especially to visit the places I missed the first time.
