Tavish is well. Abscess was drained without problems. The vet said that it had been contained and hence the surrounding tissue wasn't actually infected. Very fortunate indeed. Tav now has a course of antibiotics that need to be administered meticulously for the next week, otherwise they may need to resort to surgery to completely flush it out.

*sigh* The worst part about having a day off is knowing that you have to work tomorrow. Removes much enjoyment from the evening. Thinking too much really doesn't help either.
