Long time no see pilgrim.
Well, quite a lot has happened since my last confession. So lets summarize shall we:
Friday: Went to see The Whitlams at the Espy in St Kilda. They are probably one of the greatest bands to see live. Ever.
Saturday: I have completely forgotten what I did Saturday...absolutely no recollection of it at all, so if you have any clues, please let me know.
Sunday: Went to see S.W.A.T. It's actually a pretty good movie. Big time action of course, but it doesn't focus specifically on one "hero-who-can-save-the-world-in-his-spare-time-with-his-little-finger" type thing. The focus is on the team and its formation.
However, as muukau, kremlyn and yenith were now running late for basketball, we had to sprint though the shopping centre to the car as soon as the credits started rolling. It was fun being a hooligan for a while. Cue funky chase music: dodging people left, right and centre. "Follow that Tomato!"
Monday: Found out I haven't fractured my wrist. Woohoo. Although I still have to keep my arm in a sling and another x-ray is scheduled in a few weeks.
Tuesday: Had a "water" themed night at Joeys. This consisted of myself, yenith and Al chasing the Joeys around with supersoakers. They got their revenge though and soaked yen with cups of water. Muahahaha, of course I had nothing do to with it.
Wednesday: Re-enrollment! Bah and humbug. It took forever as usual. Also didn't help that when I turned up they notified me that I had a debt and that I couldn't enroll until I paid it. Managed to pay it by phone, but when I went to "The Hub" to get the receipt, the chick I spoke to had no idea what I was talking about. Eventually, I got it across that it was paid by telephone, while she and her supervisor had been telling me I'd paid via B-pay and should already have a receipt. It turned out, after all that, that the receipt had been sitting in front of her the entire time. Sheesh!
And guess what I received in the mail today. The notification letter telling me I had a student debt. Incompetent morons. grrrrrr.
The enrollment advisor also discovered that I had failed 2nd year structures and so have to repeat it, but considering I've already done 3rd year structures, assuming I pass the exam, they have to give me a faculty pass for 2nd year because it's the pre-requisite for 3rd. Why this was not picked up when I re-enrolled for 3rd year or even 4th year, I have no idea. Again I feel compelled to point out: Incompotent morons.
And don't even get me started on the AMS.
Aaaaaaanyways, I have to start packing for Vic Gathering this weekend. A Venturer camp up at Mafeking Park. Us Rovers are supposed to be helping out with activities.......um yes sure we are..... o_O
Supposed to be leaving at 3. Also have to get all my food shopping done. Looking forward to a fun weekend!
