Let's Goal!! I draw the Pros Arch Universe little by little
First installment of Let's Goal!! I say that because I plan to do more, you see. Like more than one. Excite!
In which I sit down and methodically design this and that for the comic, like setting and props and characters and other important shit. I know that sounds FASCINATING, but well, I like sharing things and often sharing leads to someone saying something really helpful. And because I can't help it, there are also comics thrown in there. I am incapable of just doing design work there must be gags
Spy said she imagined the cars of AU1 to be a hodgepodge of cars from various genres of pulp. Thus, we have the Noir Cars:
And the bubble cars:
Note: While Chekhov will say that he hates bubble cars because they're retarded and fugly (to paraphrase), it's actually that they make him uneasy because he doesn't like the feeling of being watched from all sides.
When it says "take from models," I mean that I am drawing all of these from one type of car. Can you guess it? Nah, I wouldn't be able to either.
Maybe if you've watched some cult films a little too often, you can guess from the car Marlowe and Chekhov will be tooling around in:
Hello, Oldsmobile from Evil Dead. All of the other cars are Oldsmobiles, too. "Hodgepodge" as a design guide doesn't sit too well with me, so I had to do something to connect all of them. Now you know. Did you know that the guy who founded the Oldsmobile line was named Ransom Eli Olds? That is the fucking greatest thing I've ever heard.

Bonus! Would you like to know something about the artist's car? Gundam is so popular she's already gotten a plethora of love letters:
Are you getting the image in your head of my dear old car? She's not actually all that junky. She just has battle scars.

And somehow even when I am just designing inanimate objects, the subject comes back to porn.
I will not rest until I have anthropomorphized everything. I am like John Lasseter, only without the moral compass and, ironically, with less sexism.

Goal 3: Setting - AU1 bug neighborhood
Goal 4: Etc
