Rear-Ended *snicker*
So last night... actually, wait. It's Saturday. So Thursday night I was driving to my Mum's house for my brother's birthday (he's visiting from Arizona) and, while I was stopped at a red light in the middle of nowhere, I was hit by a guy behind me who apparently didn't see me or the red light. He hit me so hard that I ended up in the middle of the intersection. I pulled through and over to the side of the road and he followed. Once I turned off the car and got out, though, he sped off. WTF? I didn't think people actually did that. So lame.
I feel like a dork, too, because the whole time I'm thinking, "man, he hit me HARD. I'd better go see if he's okay!" That'll learn me to care about strangers.
The car only has a few dents, surprisingly, but I'm sure the damage is far worse underneath. I'm taking it into the shop on Monday. And even though I felt fine at the scene, I'm now pretty sure I have whiplash - neck and shoulder pain and headaches. Good times. (No tingling in the extremities so that's good.)
I'm bummed out since I was to dress as Chell for a video game-themed fancy dress party at A&D's tonight, but I don't think I can make it now. I bought a bunch of stuff to make 1-upcakes to take with me, so I'm making those now anyway. (Slow going, but yay for hand mixers!) Green frosting is not appetizing on its own, but once we see it in 1-up form, I'm sure everything will be devoured quickly.
I realise I haven't posted in a while. Too much going on lately, mostly at work, o'course. (I'll post about that some other time.) I'm pretty sure I have at least a few photos to post, though, so maybe I'll go through those tonight or tomorrow while I'm laid up. Erm... I just realised it's probably not a good idea to be on the computer with my shoulder like this. Oh well. No pulling me away from it unless the doctor says otherwise when I go for a visit next week. :P
