Callie was acting...strange tonight. Strange as if she was in pain. She seems to be having a hard time peeing. Please, please, please don't let this be anything serious. Her bladder might be inflamed...b/c it's not like she hasn't already had every imaginable complication from her surgery. Might as well make it a complete set.
I was planning on taking the bus up to NYC for spring break (week after this coming one), but if Callie's sick again I can't go. I want to go, but I'm all weird and conflicted. Part of me just wants to curl up here and work/read/dream the week away.
Meh. Bought jeans today. I've lost two pairs to upper-inner-thigh holes the past few weeks, and am now down to three pairs, none of which fit correctly. So I dropped $50 at Ann Taylor Loft to buy new ones, and now I think I made a mistake and should take them back. I mean, did I need to spend $50 for jeans? I should've gone to Target. Argh.
You wouldn't know it from this post, but I'm actually doing well. Things are so much better than they were. Proper dosages make a HUGE difference. Also, I totally won (sort of) a Smart Bitch contest! I got the prize for making SB Sarah "laugh so hard [she] broke something." My winnings? A copy (arrived today) of Julie Cohen's His For the Taking, which was originally called Driving Him Crazy, a much better title that was inexplicably changed by the US publishers. Sarah's contest was to have us rename the US version of the book. The actual winner (who definitely deserved her prize, which was a copy of the UK version of the book) suggested "A Fare to Remember," which is brilliant. I won for my suggestion of "Park and Ride." Cause I'm classy like that.
