Whenever you write about Callie she reminds me of my own temperamental little one. I was going to comment on your entry re. Callie and the vet, the first time we ever left Jehovah overnight at the vet's we came to get her and the receptionist said, "OK, no problem, I'll just go get-" ::double-take as she looks at the screen:: "Ah. Um. How about you come and get her, OK? I'll take you to her."
"Is she OK?"
"Oh, she's fine. She just... wasn't the happiest, friendliest cat last night."
On later visits we found out that her file at the vet's had the warning: "WATCH."
