LOL A new fighter for the Leafs!!!
Okay, the Leafs completely sucked this game, losing 8-0.
BUT
Matt Stajan got his first fighting major. Seriously. I'd say he's the second least likely to fight ever on the team, only behind Wellwood (who I could so take). It was the funniest shit ever. This is most of the fight, just missing like 5 seconds, so no biggie.
Stajan vs. Salei (no embed? wtf?)
At least he got one good punch in so as not to embarass himself completely. But then the linesman goes and molests him and all thoughts of getting away from this without looking like a wimp are long gone. SERIOUSLY, I have to turn away everytime I see this when the linesman wraps his arms around him.
So, since Staj got a fighting major, Newbury thought he'd show the crowd how it's done. Got like one hit in before slipping on the ice and his jersey pulled off. Double minor which effects the team unlike the major. BOOO.
So then Benny Oh comes in and finally I can say there was a real fight in the game. Newbury, Ondrus, and Belak (NOB!!!!) are all fighters and during Newbs and Benny's fights the crowd is chanting Be-Lak, Be-Lak!!!
