RUN, DON'T WALK TO fleshflutter's awesome, plotty, hilarious, long Sam/Dean fic, set after S4 but no major spoilers. IMHO. I mean, I stopped watching SPN S4 halfway (4.11 or 4.17, I think) but still didn't notice any spoilers. But even if there were, it'd be totally worth it! Even if you don't watch SPN or read SPN fic, it is that good. I stayed up late (again!) finishing the fic and still want to read it again now. In my own words: Sam has fully embraced being the Antichrist and is backed by angels and demons alike, yet somehow, along the way, he totally by mistake made Dean his Beloved Consort. Or Sacred Whore. Depends on who's doing the talking.

Sam is trying to become the Antichrist in order to save the world. He has a small army of angels and demons, he has an adoring cult, he has a work of prophecy by Jack Kerouac, and he has Dean. Things are going pretty well until he accidentally signs Dean up as his Beloved Consort, a role that requires sex with the Antichrist on an altar. And that's when things stop going pretty well. Also, the soundtrack to the Apocalypse sucks.
