sleep is for the weekend

Jun 22, 2008 22:58

Unfortunately I didn't really get any.

Thursday, fell asleep on the couch after dinner. Woke up to "hey do you want to go to atari's and have some drinks?" at 9. So we went, got home around midnight. Wake up at 6:30 like usual.

Friday - longer work day than intentioned, picked up Mandie and went to dinner, then went back to her house and drank something extremely sweet and tasty. And boozaholic. and I fell asleep on the couch for an hour. Then I went home around 3am. John got home at 4:30 and I finally went to sleep.

Saturday - woke up at 9, because I just don't sleep that late. Rode the bike for an hour, wandered down to Psi U, came back home for shopping, then went to a cooking class at Whole Foods from 6-10:30. This was our first class as student volunteers. Which is AWESOME. So you can take these classes, which is fun, and costs generally $50-80 per person, ok? And you get a meal out of it. OOOOR you can volunteer. You get to do all the food prep, you get to have wine with the class. You get a full (really good) meal out of it - plus leftovers. Oh yeah, and by the way, it's totally FREE! AND you're earning points towards taking classes for free! The only downside is the dishes, and that's just not so bad. Came home, bed around 11:30.

Sunday - woke up at 6:45. Went up to raft the Ocoee. It totally rocked. We all had a great time. This was probably the best rafting trip I've ever been on. Really liked it. Our guide flipped the boat once. I boarded Ken's boat and (with help) dragged him into the water. I went soaring right past one of the guides in an attempt to repeat the manuver. I jumped into the water at every possible (advisable?) spot. It was a great trip. Then went to dinner at some place in town with all my hiking girls, and just now got home. So yeah. Not enough sleep for the me. Up tomorrow at 6:30 as usual.

On that note...

cooking, rafting
