I had my first code last night... rather, the first code I've been in for my own patient.
It was kind of horrible and two doctors kind of yelled at me (though I yelled back at one of them, because she was being an ass and that totally wasn't my fault).
But the code itself, I feel responsible for that. The patient is okay though, we left him intubated in the MICU, but he'll probably be back on our floor when I get there tonight.
