i need to start charging people.

for photography, that is.

i mean. i do like taking pictures. and in some situations, i'd probably do it anyway.
if i were to go somewhere and happen to have my camera with me, and someone asked for copies of the pictures---absolutely!
but if someone says "hey, can you take these pictures for me?" I really think I should charge them.

like. me and dane and ryan (who doesn't know it yet, but he's gonna be here so he's coming) are going to a show this weekend. and i wasn't planning on even bringing my camera. but then one of the musicians asked me to photograph it. so i said sure, of course, because when would i ever turn that down. but.
i don't know.

maybe i'm being stupid.
but i'm poor.
and
i'm going to school for photography.
it's going to be my profession.

i wouldn't ask an engineer to build me a bridge for free.
yeah, and so what if i'm putting this completely out of perspective? ;) haha

in any event.
i need to start charging people, because it uses my time, my equipment, and my brain.
