Saw Vanessa tonight, who came home for the weekend. It was so great, loved spending time with her, and with her sisters too was really fun. We will be getting together tomorrow as well. It's nice when friends come home to visit. She was telling all these stories about college life and all the wild things that happen to her, and a small part of me was wishing that I had that too. But then I remember that I did have that and it was not what I wanted at all. But it doesn't mean that her life at school still doesn't sound really fun, cause it does. I think there were too many negatives in that last sentence. What I am trying to say is that it does sound fun.
Started a new book last night, after having finished Wittgenstein's Mistress a couple of nights ago. I am now reading The Time Traveler's Wife, by Audrey Niffenegger. I started last night and am already on page 116. It's just so good, I didn't feel like I was reading for awhile, it feels like a quick read. It's not too deep or anything, is what I mean I guess. You don't have to read into it too much, there isn't much behind the words, so what you see is what it is. But sometimes you do have to think about the time traveling and how it works out in each of the characters' lives. Anyway, I very much enjoy it and would recommend it to really anyone else. Maybe not boys, I don't really see boys enjoying it, not that its a "chick book" or anything ha, but I feel like girls might enjoy it more...? Who knows.
