So I was driving to my parents' house today. They live approximately 2 miles down the road from me, so it takes a few minutes to get there...not long at all! I was flipping through the radio stations, trying to find a good song to listen to. I came across one station that was playing a Christmas song. It kind of caught me off guard considering that it's the middle of November! I proceded to flip through the stations...the next song I came across? ANOTHER CHRISTMAS SONG!
Now, don't get me wrong. I love Christmas music. I listen to it all the time and it puts me in a happy mood. HOWEVER, it's WAY too early to be playing Christmas music right now! It's acceptable on the day after Thanksgiving. After all, that's the time when people really get into the Christmas mode. Today, however, is Veteran's Day. I'm starting to think that Veteran's Day is the new "Day After Thanksgiving!" After all, this wasn't just one random song being played. This was a station (or at least a time slot) dedicated to just Christmas music.
Am I wrong in thinking that it's WAY too early for this?!
