Writer's Block: Historian's Choice

I would really liked to have been alive during the 1930's and 1940's (and being in my 20's in the 40's... and that's a lot of " 's" words). I think the music of the time was great and just thinking about all the important advances made during that time... well, it makes me giddy, seriously (or something like that. It amazes me how many things were done back then). Of course, living through war would not be a particularly pleasant thing (to put this in nice words here; seriously would be quite scary) but I still think I would love to have lived back then.

If they ever make a time machine, be certain I'll go there.
