Kreuk in a new role?
Oh, Kristin Kreuk got a role in a new sci-fi pilot? Good on you Kristin Kreuk! And it's a wife character to boot, so I feel like she'll be somewhat safer from shipper hate this time around. Maybe. I hope? I don't know if I'll be watching "17th Precinct" regularly if it gets picked up cuz I'm not really sure magical police shows are quite my thing. But with Kristin in it and Tricia Helfer playing Morgana-and apparently not as like eeeeevil Morgana, but main cast member medical-examiner Morgana, which should intrigue Paloma, I imagine-I'll at least give it a look.

Meanwhile I am also tickled pink that the NY Post has Erica on their list of Lara Croft potentials, even if it's just a glorified fancasting article. Any time she gets recognition I just grin. They were very complimentary of her, too; of the actresses listed, only Erica and Emily Blunt were directly praised for their acting skills. And, BONUS: they used the recent lovely promo photo of her instead of some retched old photo from when Smallville was sabotaging her hair. It always bugs me when articles use older, less flattering pictures of her.
