A collection of reference materials for the Ars game I'm playing with my pals in NYC.

Net Wizard's Grimoire, which has a long list of spells created during other campaigns, for inspiration.

Medieval Europe
Wikipedia's page on the High Middle Ages. Got Medieval? An informative and amusing blog.
The Arts & Sciences resource page from the SCA website. A whole lotta links!
A collection of 3,000 Mideival Paintings, German, I think. The site is in German and perusing it is rather haphazard, but you click on a name, then in the pop-up click on "galerie" to see that artist's work. And another site with
pictures from a German Ceiling, with some great mythic creatures.
British church paintings, not the best pictures in the world but quite informative and well done for an ameteur site, includes good cultural explanations. Interesting note:
Mary's boobs. Digital Scriptorium, for all your manuscript needs. NICE high-res images, not very browse-friendly. I suggest an Advanced Search of the date periods.
A large collection of ancient recipes, organized by time period. Flavor! (badum-ching)
The Met's Timeline of Art History Some Danish church art and a link back to the Orb online library for Medieval studies.
Iberia:
Moorish rule in Spain during the 1200's and
Andalusian culture, both courtesy of Wikipedia. Also,
a big chewy hunk of research on the history of Spain & Portugal from the
Library of Iberian Resources Online.
A discussion of Muslim women's clothing in the Middle Ages, with a link to men's clothing and jewelry. Very helpful!
Norse:
A brief study on the woman in Norse culture (Not too extensive but a good quick rule of thumb, academics questionable but bibliography good).
Women's fashion featuring the apron-dress that Richard very intelligently noted Anna as wearing. More photos of the woman wearing her clothing
can be found here, in the 1999 galleries.
A finer and fancier dress worn by pre-Christian Viking women.
A timeperiod-fuzzy Middle Ages Norse SCA type of site. Good starting point, at least. There are Viking Options!
