the way i see it....

there are 990 hours of sceduled education for my senior class of 2007.

by the time i graduate, i probably will have spent a maximum of 20 hours doing actual work during this period of survival.
i feel as though we, as students at marlborough high, are not treated as young adults but more as labratory rats. the staff of assholes mostly fail to do their job, so they decide to test us in other ways.
they definately test our tolerance for shit, because thats all they seem to feed us. they test our patience; i mean, how long can one really last here? how much time can someone waste before they loose touch with sanity?
a lifetime?
a decade?
a year?
970 hours?
they test our will to follow pointless rules, but many of us have out smarted the system in that sense by now. you would think that many of us would have lost touch with reality by now, but on the contrary, most of us are fully aware of how we are being treated (or not, depends how you look at it). i like to believe that we're making it through highschool by surviving off our friendship with eachother. theres no way in hell that someone could walk out of this place and still be some what in the right state of mind.
if one is one, and two is twenty, then what the fuck is 265? maybe if i was taught how to solve for x in a consequtive sequence properly, i could tell you! but, i guess we're not really here to learn.
we're merely here to survive.

dont get me wrong. there are a handfull of teachers that i really do like have a lot of respect for, and i do enjoy some of my time spent here. highschool is such a love/hate thing.  most people hate it. all in all, and im sure i speak for many when i say...
i just can't wait to get the fuck out of there.
