Just the Wednesday post
The girls gathered last night for a walk around Greenlake. Something new for us to do during the weekdays, since none of us work together any more. Esspecially since Betsi doesn't have a job, that girl has to be able to get out of the house.
The other night she was so bored she almost cried, and that was after her boyfriend had gotten home. She's having to adjust to the fact that when people get home from work they just want to chill out... she's had all day to chill out and wants to play, or talk or SOMETHING... ANYTHING.
I think I would handle unemployment a lot differently.
I think I would find stuff to do. Granted she's been unpacking for 2 weeks, and she needs to find a job, but at the very least, I would go to a Starbucks or a breakfast place that had free internet and hang out and look for a job there. Besides, i'm pretty content with just throwing on a movie and not doing anything. Which I'm sure would get old, but it would take me atleast a week to get bored enough to go outside.
I think I would just be excited to not have to shower for a week. Blake might not like it, but it would be my bliss. ahhh... not showering, or doing my hair. I mean I go almost every weekend with out a shower. and I do quite a bit on the weekend. I might be the smelly kid when we go out drinking, but I'm a comfy smelly kid. and there ain't nothing wrong with that.
Tonight we continue watching Weeds. I love this show. I'm so glad I'm watching it again before I just pick up Season 3 and hope to remember everything from the first 2 seasons.
