Audiobooks - why I love them, and also hate them

 My drive to work takes about 40 mins. Sometimes I get really stressed with some of the stupid drivers I meet along the way, especially in grockle season, so last year I started listening to Audiobooks. I joined Audible as I get 2 books for under £15 a month which seems a lot but I always pick books that are well over that!  On the whole, I find it ( Read more... )

Sounds daft but I have absolutely no experience of audio books whatsoever. I still found this very interesting to read though. You should get yourself a book blog on Blogspot. :-)

Might see what's that all about. I don't know why I decided to try audiobooks. I think it was when I found that ipod doesn't lose your place. THe only other experience I had of them before was several million cd's of "Blind Corner" (another Rickman read) and it gets very annoying trying to change them to the right one in the car! Seriously, for a long journey, an audiobook is ideal! Think I got through 2 on the way up to Orkney.
