Well, I'm trying my hand at making a banner for the LuRe Big Bang story that my friend, Lisa, wrote from my prompt. I've never made a banner before, so this is just a test.

Thanks, hon! It's from "As The World Turns", the American soap that went off the air last year. The couple is Luke Snyder (Van Hansis) and Dr. Reid Oliver (Eric Sheffer Stevens--AMAZING actor!!). They actually let them fall in love and then they killed Reid with a train on the last week of the show! ugh! Such a waste of a beautiful couple.

I got into Brian and Justin to get over the tragedy. And you can guess that they certainly helped! ;) Gale heals all wounds.

Ahhhh okay, I've heard of them. I recently discovered a couple from a German Soap called Verotene Liebe (Forbidden Love) that I've had to watch in sub titles - Christian & Oliver. I hate sub titles, but they are so worth it. Amazing! Some friends have compared them to that story, except the German soap is a little more explicit.

I started on LJ writing Brokeback Mountain and stumbled on Brian & Justin by chance. Well, there was no turning back. Lol. Yes, Gale heals all wounds. Now I can't help but to cheer him on as the evil Charles in TSC. Lol.

Yes, My Bodyguard should be up within the next couple of hours barring any untimely interruptions. :)

I watched a bit of Christian and Oliver right before I found Brian and Justin, and they were very sweet. But seriously, does ANYTHING else compare to B/J?! It's impossible.

I'm loving Gale as the evil Charles Meade. I can't wait for more. He's going to be so delicious in that role.

I'm trying to get some work done right now so I can read the new chapter when you post. :))))

Oh sweetheart, I emailed it to you before, I was so excited when I finished. Although, when I look at it, I only see my mistakes. I'm trying to find a way to get rid of the flashing words and just have it 'glittery'.

I don't think any of our LRO friends are going to see it yet. Mostly it's my QAF friends here. But I'll take it down if you think it's not close enough to the BB.

Don't you dare take it down! It's perfect just the way it is and I can't wait for people to see it. Now that the story is done (except for any editorial changes), I think it's time to build some hype and this banner does just that!

I can't really look at the story tomorrow since it's Demi Lovato day with the girls, and then I have to race back from the City to teach CCD. But Tuesday morning, it's #1 on my list! Although I think it's already perfect.

LRO friend peeking in...I think it looks FANTASTIC, seriously! I would not have any idea how to create something like this. And might I assume that magic's stupendous BB fic is going to be western-themed? Oh my heart! I'm giddy to read this!!!

Awww, Jacob. It's so nice to have everyone commenting. I'm really excited about this story. You should be giddy, Lisa did an amazing job!

By the way, I was loading photos into my Photobucket account when I realized that you could edit them. After some painful trial and error, I managed to pull that banner together. You just have to do it layers. Are you writing a story for the BB, too? ♥

I've just figured out collages in Photobucket - I suspect that layers will vex me for a while! Yes, I am doing a BB fic. It's called "Trip the Light Fantastic".

I cheated and went to read all the story synopses the authors posted for the artists, and I'm dying to read so many of the fics!

Is yours the one with Luke traveling to Chicago with the landscaper? That one sounds awesome! ♥

Yes, you probably should - although I might crumple into a crying heap ... will try and send you something asap (yes, I have been writing). Didn't want to bother you while you were still clearing up after Irene x

It's no bother! We've done all the cleanup we can do. Now we wait for the insurance company claim and then deal with the 'rebuild'. It's funny because I didn't want to push you! LOL I'd love to help you out any way I can. I'll read it over and see if you are missing words or look for typos, etc.
