The blanket is lovely, and how bittersweet it is for Severus to find it so long after a time when hope and love had filled [Eileen's] heart; at least he knows she felt those things, and that she felt them for him.

I had so much enjoyment creating this blanket, and tried to capture Eileen's emotions while doing so. When people asked if I were knitting it for someone I had to answer "yes," thinking but not for someone you'd even imagine. Thanks so much.

What a touching story to go with your lovely creation. The pale green is perfect (vs emerald green of Slytherin) -- like early spring, new leaves, full of possibilities. Makes my heart ache for the child he was. I hope it warms his heart, at a time when he so needs to be reminded that he was loved.
