Oh, Severus. *cries* And yet, it's a lovely thought that, in spite of what happened between he and Lily, the strength of their friendship remains and sustains him. I love Lily's gift. I love that Severus keeps it still.

As a child I loved playing with my Magic 8 Ball with it's ambiguous yet sometimes profound answers to all my questions. The beginning of the story was cute with the answers Lily charmed into her gift to Severus.

I wasn't quite prepared for the emotional ending, but I loved it. Poor Severus.
