A prickly, recriminatory meeting that ends on a hopeful note-that sounds about right! It's interesting to think about what Remus has been doing with his time, but that's not, of course, what Severus really wants to discuss with him whilst hosting him. *snorts*

Great line; classic Severus. I do think it's unfair of Remus to expect Severus to be "nice" about James, but I'm glad they could have this Christmas Eve truce. . .and maybe more.

There was so much going on in this. Really well done. I totally get why Severus cannot be kind to James. And really, he showed his true colors by inviting Remus along. I would like to see what happened way back when...
