We're using Netflix to watch TOS (which I've never seen before b/c I couldn't suffer Shatner to be able to watch it--but the reboot movie allowed me to become familiar with the characters and be able to tune Shatner out enough to be able to appreciate the show) and we have the movies lined up in order after we finish the show. We're toying with the idea of just continuing on through the rest of the Star Trek shows in order for as long as Netflix has them, but we haven't decided for sure yet if we'll do that or go with the original plan to watch Doctor Who, starting with Tom Baker (another show I haven't seen yet but want to).
I saw that Bruno Mars video last week when Nimoy tweeted the link to it. He's so fucking cool it almost hurts! :D
I loved Data as a character when I was into TNG in high school/college, but I love Patrick Stewart as an actor and a cool guy. What he does on Family Guy and American Dad crack me up all the time. I think he'd be HILARIOUS to hang out with. And that voice... *melts*
I would love to see him, Alan Rickman, and Jeremy Irons all together in a who-can-make-the-most-knickers-explode contest. *wicked grin*
