Come claim a Snape rare pair prompt at 
deeply_horrible/deeply_horrible's challenge to Bring Back the Bastard! Prompt-claiming is open until 11:59 pm (US Eastern Time) on Sunday, and we still have a number of unclaimed prompts: all manner of rarepairs from Snape/Aberforth and Snape/Filch to Snape/Slughorn and Snape/Umbridge as well as numerous prompts with open-ended pairings. We love rare pairs and would love to have you come play with us.
The minimum requirement is a 500-word drabble or a single drawing, and entries aren't due until October 28th. The fest is designed to be as low-pressure as possible -- if you need to drop out, that's okay. But we do encourage participants to think hard about Snape's choices, to grapple with the unpleasantness, the stuntedness, the ambiguities, with the world that made him as he was and the decisions he made in that world. You are free to show him sympathy, to take him to task, to delve into his darker sides -- in short, all manner of entries and approaches where characterisation is the focus and Snape's canon complexities are not just shunted aside, minimised, made merely sexy or unproblematic, are welcome.
