Tagged from Courtney WAY before even the Election, and I'm just now getting around to do it!
Good way to get to know more and more about my sick demented, twisted mind! Courtney asked for it!
So basically, you comment to this post, and I will choose 7 of your interests that I am curious about. You post about them in your own journal and we continue from there.

1. Battle for Hogwarts- I have no idea why this is in my Interests. Perhaps it has to do with one of my favorite scenes in the Harry Potter series. The build-up of 7 books had led to that moment, and low and behold, TRELAWNEY was even kicking ass by throwing her useless and expensive crystal balls over the balcony to knock out Death Eaters. Does anyone know if Trelawney survived? It would be heart-breaking if she didn't. She's had so much more success with predictions since I've taken over the post of cos-playing her. We have "The Unicorn and the Scorpion", "The Deadly Hangovers"...I've been on a roll as Trelawney!
Anyways, I also love Bellatrix in that scene. WHile I still kinda wish Neville had done her in, I do also think Molly did superbly. "Not my daughter you BITCH!" And Laurie's song "My Demise" is PRICELESS!!!!!

2. cosplay- As I said above, I often cos-play Trelawney. I also cos-play Draco, Pansy, Bellatrix, Snape (on planes), Alice Longbottom, and have dabbled in Professor Sprout, Tonks and Fleur. I recently got an Astoria Greengrass costume together and I love protraying her. I mean, Draco Malfoy's wife? What's not to love.
And if you are dim-witted enough to be reading this journal and not know what cos-playing is, then, well, you aren't my friend and shouldn't be reading this, but I'll slow down and spell it out for you! I AM A HARRY POTTER FANATIC! I dress up as Harry Potter characters and act like them! I do this for fun and for free! And yes, I still realize it was "just a book" but it was a book that changed my freaking life, okay?
So, I portrayed Trelawney in the fan-film The Potter Prophecy, but I am quite embarrassed by my performance, so let's not mention that again. I usually go to cons with my Alice Longbottom costume and put it on at night, as they are comfy cozy pajama-style pants and shirt, and I can make my hair crazy and it goes with the costume. And the Snapes on a Plane thing....yeah, I cos-play Snape, when getting on a plane. It's one of my favorite things to do!

3. King Arthur- I could go on and on and on and on and on and on and on about my utter love and devotion for the King Arthur legend, but I won't. My favorite character of ALL time is Morgan Lefay. LOVE her! My favorite book of all time is (*Shock and horrors*) Road to Avalon and Mists of Avalon (I KNOW, not a Harry Potter book, for shame!). If it has to do with the Arthurian Legend, I will buy it. I learned Tarot a super duper long time ago all because I had found an Arthurian Tarot Deck and I had to have it.
My love for King Arthur goes way further than Harry Potter, I've been reading the books longer, and the stories don't ever end. There's always someone else who ends up writing another one. No more Harry Potter books (well, unless you count Harry a History and Beedle the Bard).
I've also noticed that most fantasy series take from the Arthurian Legend. Star Wars? Arthurian Legend. Lord of the Rings? Similarities. The Wheel of Time? Yup. Dare I say, Harry Potter? You betcha! It's ALL over Harry Potter! No joke!

4. Parseltonging- So, earlier last year (2007), while the Remus Lupins were visiting New Orleans for the first time that summer, they introduced me to a little online blog called The Acid Quill. I read it and I thought it was HIL-LARE-REE-US! I mean, it was a Wizard Rock tabloid! Classic! Genius! I loved every bit of it! The sarcasm. The wit. The ragging on ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE in the Fandom! It was great! I took it for the satirical hilarity it was supposed to be, but of course, the Wizard Rockers got all up in arms about it. So, I was going to try to make my own on-line tabloid blog and call it Parseltonging. My idea was to take stories that were too outrageous to even be remotely true, and just run with it.
Unfortunately, my soft ego wouldn't have been able to take the hits from the Wizard Rockers I would have gotten from that, because gods know they don't know how to take a joke.
I even had come up with some stupid names for the "reporters": Snapes on a Plane (of course), Whorecrux, and Bellamatrix.
Maybe now is a good time to try to revive Parseltonging. Any volunteers?

5. Puke and Snot - Once upon a time, I went to a RenFaire in Sarasota, FL. A fun time was had by all, but the best thing I ever did saw was Puke and Snot, a medieval comedy routine. I bought 2 of their cds and now I can't find either one of them. This makes me very angry, because I would LOVE to share the hilarity of Puke and Snot with everyone else, but I can't seem to find them. One of my favorite lines from them- "Argh! There's a steering wheel in me pants" "Oh yeah?" "Yeah, it's driving me nuts!"

6. Space mountain- Okay, so every once in a while, I come up with a brilliant idea. Wrock the Boat is one of them. I also have these brilliant idea for a restraunt, Theme Park, Marine Life Park, roller coaster, Teen Rehabilitation and Animal Sanctuary center, a TV Nature/Animal/Travel series, and of course, stories. Space Mountain is one of those stories. I don't like revealing too much about it because I think it's quite brilliant, and I don't want anyone stealing my idea until I've written it out and tried to sell the idea to Disney. I mean, they did Pirates, Haunted Mansion, and freaking Country Bears (talk about WTF), so why not Space Mountain, right? I have it planned as a trilogy, and yes, it's bad ass.

7. Wounded Healer- I have been working on writing my memoirs about my troubled teen-age years, I'm calling it Wounded Healer. Wounded Healer refers to the Native American Medicine Wheel's place of the Buffalo. They refer to the Buffalo as teh Wounded Healer, one who has been through the ringer, and is able to share and give back from their experiences. It is considered a place of wisdom and giving away what was so freely given to you. There's a reason my Patronus is a Buffalo.
