Since all the professors had to go to the Halloween Ball as chaperones, Severus put his work down and decided to get ready. He took a few steps towards the mirror and stared at his reflection. He hardly ever looked at himself in the mirror, but whenever he did, he felt odd. Surely nobody else looked so angry in a plain black cloak. He looked pale, and slimy, and he felt completely unappealing. Since it was Halloween, and Headmaster Dumbledore made it clear that NOBODY could enter the ball without a costume (he tried arguing against it, but Dumbledore stood his ground), Severus stared at his pale, slimy, and dark reflection in the mirror. He looked at himself and his reflection forced a thought into his head. "A vampire," he said out loud, and his reflection said it with him. So it was settled, Professor Snape would go as a vampire. It was not very far off to what most of his students thought of him anyway.
He took his wand out and pointed them at his teeth: then he made his cloak taller and more stiff, then some red color dripping down his chin, "Yes, that does look convincing," he said to the vampire staring back at him, but there was still something missing. Pointing his wand at an empty cauldron, he created a vampire's alter ego - thinking he looked as good as he could for the occasion, he walked out of the dungeon, and made his way up to the Great Hall.
ooc: What else could our Snapey go to the ball as?? I mean, Honestly. haha
