Killing Two Birds With One Stone
Doing this by way of introduction and also pimping my one and only Snape/OFC fic. I tend to only write novel-length fics, so both of my Snape stories (this one and the one SSHG I've written so far) are both over 100K words. I'm christinex on fanfiction.net, Sycophant Hex, and Fiction Alley. I actually started in fanfiction through Phantom of the Opera (hence the username...Christine is also my middle name), and then branched out to Star Wars and Lord of the Rings. I was reading the HP books pretty much from the time the first Scholastic edition came out in the U.S., but I didn't really get into writing HP fanfiction until 2006.
In real life I'm a graphic designer and PR writer, and in my spare (ha!) time I also dabble in historical costuming. A few summers ago I made my husband a Snape costume for the World Science Fiction Convention that was held here in SoCal. That costume has gotten a lot of use since then, because we also throw HP-themed parties when the mood takes us. We're also planning to attend Azkatraz next summer.
