Title: Above All Else
Fandom: Harry Potter [The Order of the Phoenix]
Characters: Molly Weasley, Arthur Weasley, mentions of Bill, Charlie, Percy, Fred, and George Weasley
Prompt: #27 - Parents
Word Count: 256
Rating: G
Author's Notes: I left out Ron and Ginny since they’re not technically Order members. =3 While the others are. Well, except Percy. But he needed to be touched on. He IS a Weasley, after all.

Bill was working to gather information now. Remus said that he needed the time to recover before it was wise to risk him in battle. There was a chance he might lose control if they pushed him too early. Molly made sure to remind him of this whenever Bill offered to help out during a mission.

Charlie was in a pseudo Auror position of the Order. He’d pop in to help out whenever Dawlish, Tonks, or Kingsley would have a job they had to go on. Unofficially, of course. Arthur made sure to remind Charlie that he had to be sure to get out of there before the oblivators and clean up crews showed up.

Percy was looking sicker and sicker as the war wore on. Pale, overworked, and under appreciated. Arthur had gotten over the fight long ago, but he was too prideful to approach his son about it. So he’d watch from a distance, monitoring Percy’s work habits, and asking other personal of the Minister to make small suggestions to him. Work less, eat more, sleep sometimes.

Fred and George needed no help, surprisingly enough. Running their own shop and reconnaissance for the Order, Molly was shocked at how much the ‘screw ups’ were achieving, even without NEWT scores to fall back on. Molly had apologized for how she had treated them over the years. They were her boys, and she should have known they were no fools.

Order members or not, Arthur and Molly were parents. And their children were their first concern.
